Quilts of Valor discussed at quilters meeting

Roxanne Brown, left, Louisiana coordinator for Quilts of Valor, recently gave a lecture to the Bayou Belle Quilters Association. The Quilts of Valor Foundation was founded in 2003 with the goal of making quilts that would both heal and comfort America’s war wounded, she said. Quilts of Valor are awarded to veterans to say “thank you for your service, sacrifice and valor.” With Brown is Sandra LeBlanc, Bayou Belle president.
