Quit Show open house is Tuesday

The annual Quilt Show will begin with an open house at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Artists Guild Unlimited Everett Street Gallery in Morgan City.
Sponsors of the Quilt Show are The Rumpled Quilts and the Bayou Belle Quilters. Both quilting groups used member’s talents to create quilts that are donated to Chez Hope Family Violence Crisis Center (Rumpled Quilts) and the Adullam House (Bayou Belle).
The Rumpled Quilts and Bayou Belle Quilters will each hold a quilt raffle to raise funds for their respective charitable work. Tickets for the quilt raffles will be available at the Quilt Show that runs Aug. 5-22 and also at The Quilt Cupboard in Berwick.
Bayou Belle Quilters will hold its raffle drawing in December. The Rumpled Quilts will hold its drawing at the conclusion of the Quilt Show at 2 p.m. on Aug. 22.
Show hours are Wednesdays through Fridays from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to view the many quilt designs.
