Seniors take trip to Breaux Bridge

St. Mary Council on Aging and the Franklin Golden Age Club recently visited downtown Breaux Bridge with seniors from Franklin, Patterson and Morgan City. They visited the downtown area’s antique shops and church, and had coffee and pastries in local restaurants, then rode through a campground. They were able to see the layout of the campground and rental cabins throughout the park. Participants also visited a campground and other businesses before heading to Pont Breaux, formerly Mulates, for dining and dancing.
