Sidney Boudreaux celebrates 100 years

Sidney Boudreaux, a native of Bateman Island and a resident of Morgan City, celebrated his 100th birthday Feb. 11 with a party at the home of Bryce and Margaret Merrill, of Morgan City. Joining Boudreaux to celebrate his milestone were his wife Genevieve, family, friends and members of his line dancing group. Morgan City Mayor Frank “Boo” Grizzaffi, left, presented him with a plaque and key to the city.
