Thibodaux Playhouse to present 'The Producers'

Thibodaux Playhouse will present “The Producers, a new Mel Brooks Musical” July 24-26 and July 31-Aug. 2. The show is about a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant, who come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their little old-lady backers out of millions of dollars. But the show is a smash hit and the resulting antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom are shown as they maneuver recklessly through the resulting events.
