Thomas attends several festivals

Hailee Ann Thomas, 79th Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival queen, has been busy promoting the area’s Labor Day weekend festival. She attended the queen’s events and pageant April 3-4 for the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. While there she attended a social, toured Breaux Bridge, attended the Queen’s Tea and experienced a crawfish harvest. At the pageant she congratulated new Queen Kristen Hamilton, left in top photo. Thomas visited the Gonzales Jambalaya Festival on May 23. Her agenda included meeting the Gonzales mayor, participating in a scavenger hunt, eating jambalaya and learning to make it. She was also greeted by, bottom photo, Miss Jambalaya Alyssa Hughes, center, and Teen Miss Jambalaya Grace Graugnard, right.
