Waguespack wins cheesecake throw down

Billy Waguespack of Bayou Vista took home the blue ribbon in the Bayou BBQ Bash cheesecake throw down held Friday. He competed against Mata Tellman and Cherrie Laiche. Money was raised from donations to judge the contest. Waguespack will donate the winnings to the Marine Corps League. Presenting him with his ribbon is Tellman, last year’s winner.
