Wilsons celebrate 69th anniversary

Paul and Yvonne Wilson of Morgan City celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6. The couple arrived by limousine to the Acadiana Bar and Grill in Morgan City and met family members for a buffet dinner. The couple married on Oct. 6, 1947. They are the parents of eight children: Sheena Coleman of Naperville, Illinois; Paul Wilson Jr. of New Orleans; Myron Wilson of Lafayette; Valerie Simmons, Kelvin Wilson and Martin Wilson, all of Morgan City; Demetrius Wilson of Patterson; and the late Jerome Wilson.
