‘Tis the season

The City of Franklin put wreaths on the historic lamp posts this week as the Christmas season begins today after the Thanksgiving holiday. The 2014 Christmas parade and lamp-lighting ceremony are Saturday, Dec. 6. Line-up for the parade will begin at 5 p.m. on Jackson Street, and the parade will begin at 6 p.m. on the corner of Jackson and Main streets. The lamp-lighting ceremony begins immediately after on the Courthouse Square.
