‘Trivia Night’ slated May 31

Chez Hope’s annual Trivia Night is set for May 31 at the Franklin Recreation Center.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and features entertainment in addition to teams competing in the trivia contest.
Teams consist of six people over the age of 21. Entry fee per team is $120. Dinner will be served for $50 per plate. The theme for dress-up is Cajun and there will be an award for best team costume.
Chez Hope Family Violence Crisis Center assisted 1,186 local residents in 2013 across all demographics.
Trivia Night is one of the organization’s major fundraising resources. Chez Hope provides a 24-hour crisis line and emergency shelter program, emergency transportation, food and supplies, crisis intervention, lethality assessments and much more.
Items are being accepted for the silent auction at Trivia Night. Some of the most popular items in the past have included wooden rocking chairs, boil pots and burners and ice chests of adult beverages. Chez Hope is a 501(c)3 organization so donations are tax deductible.
