AARP scholarship drive begins

The annual St. Mary Scholarship Drive is currently under way.
Every year the St. Mary AARP grants two scholarships to graduating seniors of St. Mary Parish high schools. To be eligible, students must have a parent, grandparent or guardian who is a member of St. Mary AARP Chapter 4435. Other criteria listed on the application form must be met. Applications are available at each of the eight St. Mary Parish high schools or at the St. Mary AARP office, 4014 Chennault St., Morgan City. The $1,000 scholarship can be used at any university, college or vocational school in Louisiana.
