Adopt-A-Family program

St. Mary Community Action Agency’s Adopt-A-Family program was held Dec. 16 and several Head Start families benefitted through the charitable efforts of others. There were big presents wrapped and topped with shiny ribbons along with bicycles and dollhouses for eligible Head Start boys and girls. Families received fruit baskets, along with several gifts and personal photos with Santa. “We would like to thank each of the sponsors who took time to attend,” Chief Executive Officer Almetra J. Franklin said. “For those sponsors and social groups who were unable to attend, their contribution was still greatly appreciated.”
