The early years of Aubrey’s life were devoted to scouting. He became Scout Master in 1954. His dedication to scouting had a positive effect on many young boys throughout his service. After a tour of duty in the United States Army, he returned home to continue his scouting duties. In 1973 he was awarded the highest award for adult scouters, the Silver Beaver Award.
