Baldwin inaugurations

Both newly-elected and returning public officials in Baldwin were administered their oaths of office by 16th Judicial District Court Judge Curtis Sigur at the town’s community center Thursday. Sigur, also just elected to the bench, first administered the oath to incoming Mayor Donna Lewis Lanceslin, shown above along with great-grandson Jace Mathews. Below, Sigur swore in Baldwin Board of Aldermen (from left) returning members Thor Frederick, Margaret “Faye” Coleman and Clarence Vappie, newly-elected member Herbert “HB” Bell and incumbent Gene St. Germain.
