Berwick High grad gets degree

A 2007 graduate of Berwick High School received the Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Pharmacy during the commencement exercises May 14. Emily Alpha was chapter president of the Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacy by the America Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She was also recognized by Phi Lambda Sigma for her leadership in pharmacy. Emily has accepted a position with Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City as a clinical pharmacist. She is the daughter of Doyle and Donna Richard of Bayou Vista and the wife of Anthony Alpha.
