Brittany’s Project auto show, cruise Saturday

Brittany’s Project will join with the South East Louisiana Bayou Mustang Club and Lirette Ford of Morgan City for a project car, truck, motorcycle, rat rod and vendor event Saturday.
Gates open at 8 a.m. with awards at 4 p.m. and an auction 2 p.m. A cruise will also depart from Lirette Ford at 6 p.m. to go to Tampico’s Restaurant.
The day also marks the dealership’s fifth anniversary celebration. Local festival queens will be on site. There will be a scavenger hunt, door prizes, food and refreshments, live music, craft vendors, a live auction, activities for kids and more. Entry is free, car show participants can register the day of the show for $30.
All proceeds benefit Brittany’s Special Friends Camp and the proposed facility for individuals with disabilities to enjoy educational seminars, discussion forums, support groups, social interaction, hands on learning, monthly activities, and summer camps in Franklin and Morgan City.
