CAA’s summer feeding schedule

St. Mary Community Action Agency Inc. is once again participating in the Summer Food Service Program.
The program begins on Monday with eight feeding sites for students throughout St. Mary Parish.
Some sites will be serving breakfast and lunch, and some sites will be serving lunch only. Serving age is for youths 18 years of age and under, and they must be able to feed themselves. In addition to providing meals, there will be constructive activities for the children to participate in including arts and crafts, fun games, and theatrical performances.
The sites on the West end of St. Mary Parish are the St. Mary Alternative School, Raintree Elementary School, West St. Mary Civic Center and St. John Baptist Church, all for breakfast and lunch.
The sites will be closed on July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. All children will be given free meals and will not be turned away based on age, race, color, creed, disability or nationality. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
