Chaisson appointed new Foster principal

Dawn Chaisson will be the new principal at W.P. Foster Elementary School in Franlin.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Donald Aguillard said this morning, “The effective date of her appointment will be Monday, Dec. 2. Prior to her appointment as principal, Ms. Chaisson was most recently an assistant principal at Patterson Junior High School.”
Aguillard said Chiasson has 12 years of previous teaching experience in third, fourth and sixth grade.
“My sincere thanks are extended to Ms. Renee Hebert and Ms. Kim Caesar who served as W.P. Foster faculty representatives on the interview committee,” Aguillard said. “I also extend my deep appreciation to Mr. Murphy Armelin who served from the first day of school as the acting principal of W.P. Foster Elementary.”
