Chamber honors long-time businesses

St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce members met Wednesday for a luncheon at the Forest Restaurant honoring three local businesses. From top, Chamber board chairman Bob Harrison presents plaques to Eugene Foulcard, chairman of the Franklin Foundation Hospital board of directors, open for 62 years; Al Kuhlman accepts the honors for the Best Western Forest Inn and Restaurant at 57 years in business; and Chitimacha Chairman O’Neil Darden Jr. accepts Cypress Bayou Casino’s award for 20 years. Luncheon sponsor was the First National Bank of Jeanerette.
