City program recognized

The City of Franklin’s Main Street Program is one of the four original Louisiana Main Street Programs, which began in 1984. Three other programs share this distinction with Franklin—Donaldsonville, Hammond and Houma. At Culture Connection, held in Baton Rouge April 22-23, the four original Louisiana Main Street Programs were honored with special trophies and certificates from Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne.
