Cleanup volunteers

Nine volunteers turned out for the monthly “Clean-Up Franklin Day” in September. Drinking water for the volunteers was donated by Argus Spa. Volunteers are always welcome to join the group on the second Saturday of each month, weather permitting. They depart shortly after 8 a.m. from the meeting place next to City Buffett and spend the next one to two hours picking up litter on designated areas along Main Street.
