Dixie Youth tournament starts Friday in Franklin

Sixteen teams will be converging on Franklin this week for the Dixie Youth Regional Baseball Tournament at Caffery Park
The two divisions of 10- and 12-year-olds will begin play on Friday at 1 p.m. to be followed by three more games that day.
The tournament will run through Tuesday when championship games will be played.
Friday and Saturday game times are at 1, 3, 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday games are at 1, 3 and 5:30 p.m.; Monday games are at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.; and Tuesday championship games are at 5:30 p.m.
Admission is $7 at the gate and free for children under 12.
