Family has second generation of teachers

Three kids. Three teachers. All three Rhodes children are products of the St. Mary Parish public school system having attended Morgan City High School and graduating in the top 10 of their classes.
They all earned TOPS tuition and graduated with a 3.85 or higher GPA from Nicholls State University. Following in their mother's footsteps, all the Rhodes children have returned to the St. Mary Parish area to pursue careers in education
.Mother Melissa Rhodes, who has been teaching for over 27 years, is currently a first-grade teacher at Wyandotte Elementary.
The oldest daughter, Amanda Rhodes Fernandez, is a second-- grade teacher at Hattie Watts Elementary.
Son Adam Rhodes, is the health and physical education cation teacher at Wyandotte Elementary.
Youngest sibling and recent Nicholls graduate Alyssa Rhodes has accepted athird-grade position at Hattie Watts Elementary
