FFH debate continues

This sign on the fence at Nick Accardo’s Main Street residence is “creative art,” Accardo said, and is for sale misspelled name and all for the price quoted on the sign. Accardo is a board member of Hospital Service District 1, recently beleaguered by controversy. The parish council will consider the removal of some or all of the board members when it meets in regular session tonight. Parish Councilman David Hanagriff said this morning, “This is a troubling time for the city and Franklin Foundation Hospital and we need to pull together. I don’t want to be petty and respond to a sign like that. I just wish we could all pull together to save our hospital.”
