First of 4 candidate forums is Tuesday in Morgan City

The first in a series of four St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce candidate forums is scheduled Tuesday in Morgan City.
Chamber President Donna Meyer said in a news release the objective of the forums is to inform as many people as possible about the positions of each candidate.
Each forum begins at 6 p.m. They are:
—Tuesday, Morgan City Municipal Auditorium: 16th Judicial District, Division A, Anthony Thibodeaux and Dean Wattigny; 16th Judicial District, Division G, Lucretia Pecantte, “Tai” Porter-Green and Curtis Sigur; 16th Judicial District, Division H, Alisia Johnson Butler, Carolyn Deal and Lori A. Landry; and St. Mary School Board District 9, William “Bill” McCarty and “Jeff” Trimm.
—Sept. 30, Patterson Area Civic Center: Patterson mayor, Billy Badeaux and Rodney Grogan; police chief, Patrick LaSalle and Pam Washington; council, Travis Darnell, Sandra Marshall, Larry Mendoza, William “Billy” Picou Jr., John Rentrop, Joe Russo and Sandra Turner.
—Oct. 7, Baldwin Civic Center: Baldwin mayor, Benny J. Druilhet, Michael Lancelin and Donna Lanceslin; police chief, Sharandae Brannon, Daven Colar, Ronnie Fuselier, David Robertson, Harry “Boo Boo” Smith and Albert Thibodeaux.
—Oct. 9, Berwick Civic Center: Berwick mayor, Louis Ratcliff and Jessie Boudreaux; and council, Jacki Ackel, Duval Arthur Jr., Troy M. Lombardo, Randal Monceaux, Damon Robison and Greg Roussel.
