Football players march in support of law enforcement

Football players from Central Catholic, Morgan City High, Patterson High and Berwick High -- joined by local dignitaries including Parish President David Hanagriff, at right -- march down the Morgan City side of the La. 182 bridge on Thursday to show their support for law enforcement officers. The march started at Berwick Elementary and ended beneath the bridge in Morgan City, where there was jambalaya and a patriotic rally. The event was the brainchild of Central Catholic coach Tommy Minton, who is a candidate for the Morgan City Council.
