Grimes and Bertrand to lead Centerville HS Class of 2014

Brittany Shae Grimes and Jaron Lee Bertrand will lead the Centerville High School Class of 2014 as summa cum laude graduates during commencement exercises.
The ceremony is at 6 p.m., Thursday in the school’s gymnasium.
Brittany, the daughter of Tess Franks and Dale Franks, is finishing her high school career with a 3.96 grade point average.
She plans to attend Loyola University in New Orleans to major in law and music industry.
Her scholarships and awards include WAFB Best of Class 2014, Shining Star, Marie B. Wyman Scholarship and TOPS Performance Award Scholarship.
Brittany’s extracurricular activities include basketball, softball, track manager, Literary Rally team and Senior Beta Club.
Jaron, the daughter of Arthur Bertrand and Sheryl Kerridge, is finishing her high school career with a 3.88 grade point average.
She plans to attend Louisiana State University and major in mechanical engineering.
Her scholarships and awards include St. Mary Parish Masonic Society Honesty and Integrity Award and the TOPS Performance Award Scholarship
Jaron’s extracurricular activities include volleyball, Senior Beta Club, junior class vice president and senior class vice president.
