Harvest Fest events are slated

Franklin’s Harvest Moon Festival is Oct. 25 along downtown Main Street.
The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce is asking for local businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations and individuals to take part in the community event of decorating the downtown Main Street lampposts.
Decorations do not have to be elaborate or expensive, just show community pride. There is no fee or judging involved. Contact the Chamber at 337-828-4100, ext. 3170 and ask for Iris.
This year’s festival will include a car show. Applications can be downloaded from the website:
