Head Start fitness, fun event Thursday

St. Mary Community Action Head Start’s “Fit and Fun” initiative is Thursday in Caffery Park.
The schedule is:
9:30-10 a.m.: Each different center will wear their shirts and participate in a parade on Barrow Street.
10-10:30 a.m.: There will be a presentation by The Red Ribbon Committee-St.Mary Parish Sherriff’s office and Scruff McGruff
10:30-11:30 a.m.: Center breakouts, head start activities, face painting, fun jumps and more.
11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Lunch.
12:15-1:15 p.m. Entertainment by DJ FAB , DJ Black C, DJ Six Foe( Zydeco Extraordinaire JJ Callier), and the Broussard-Harris Steppers.
