Holiday closings

Area municipalities and state and parish governmental offices will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.
The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will close at noon Monday. Morgan City’s Sanitation Department will not run routes on Monday. However, Monday’s route will be collected on Tuesday and Tuesday’s route will be picked up on Wednesday.
Progressive Waste Solutions will run its routes an hour early on Monday.
The Daily Review will close early on Friday and Monday for the Labor Day weekend holiday which includes the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in downtown Morgan City.
Due to the abbreviated work days, news and advertising deadlines will be earlier than usual. Some routes may also experience early delivery of The Daily Review.
