Kenny Hilliard Foundation Fun Day is Aug. 1

Kenny Hilliard, the Patterson and LSU running back who will play for the NFL’s Houston Texans, has formed a foundation. And its first event is scheduled for Aug. 1.
The foundation will run a Back to School Fund Day in the Park at the Cherry Street Park. The 1-4 p.m. event will run in conjunction with Patterson’s Stuff the Bus supply drive. Kids who participate in Stuff the Bus can come to the park immediately afterward.
“It’s a time to celebrate, eat and have fellowship in preparation for a great school year,” Hilliard said.
