LABI president to speak here

The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce will host the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry for a legislative issues conference Feb. 19.
The event, sponsored by Hampton Inn & Suites, is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
Cost to attend is $20 for chamber members and $25 for non-members.
The speaker will be Louisiana Association of Business and Industry President Stephen Waguespack who will discuss the business community’s priorities for the upcoming legislative session.
After Waguespack’s presentation, each attending legislator will be given time in the program to speak regarding business-related issues in the upcoming legislative session.
