St. Mary Landmarks Society’s annual luncheon is Sunday at Shadowlawn with the theme “A Day at the Derby.”
Celebrating the 45th anniversary of the historic preservation organization, organizers are asking ladies to wear the appropriate large hats, and the group will be serving traditional mint juleps.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and reservations are being accepted now for $75. Entry can also be paid at the door.
There will be live and silent auctions and music by Clay Boudreaux. Artists and authors will be on hand during the day. The Forest Restaurant is catering.
