Learning about our flag

Several cadets from the Franklin Senior High School Junior ROTC program recently went to Franklin Junior High School to give a lesson on flying the United States flag. Under the guidance of Sgt. Joseph Nowakowski, the students learned the origin and history behind the flag. Students were also given a demonstration on folding and flying the flag. FJHS will now fly the national and Louisiana flags every school day as part of their daily routine.
