Patterson
council to meet
PATTERSON — The City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
Items on the agenda include a public hearing and action on a variance request for 411 Main St., announcement of Christmas lighting, resolution as it pertains to the construction of the new water treatment plant, approval of the change order for the Willow Street sewers, Taft Street to Martin Luther King Avenue, and adoption of a resolution for the substantial completion of Willow Street sewers.

Portion of Railroad Ave. closed
MORGAN CITY — Railroad Avenue will be closed between Pecos Street and Halsey Street through Nov. 17 for roadway repairs, according to a Morgan City Police Department news release.
Police ask motorists to use an alternate route to bypass this area. Also, big trucks will use Aycock Street to make deliveries until the roadway is back open to traffic, the release stated.

MORGAN CITY — The Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District commission will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at the Port of Morgan City.
New business on the agenda includes discussion and any action related to St. Mary Parish’s request to transfer a district parcel for its new industrial road and discussion and any action on the Moffatt & Nichol contract, including adjustment to scope of work.

Berwick Council
to meet
The Berwick Town Council meets Tuesday to consider capital outlay requests for the 2014-15 fiscal year.
The resolutions concern the sewer collection system on Old Spanish Trail, overlay of various streets throughout the town and general sewer rehabilitation.
Also on the agenda is a resolution regarding a partial revocation of servitude.
The meeting is slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday at town hall and is open to the public.

Stone Energy
CEO to speak
MORGAN CITY — The Atchafalaya Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute will meet Tuesday at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
The social begins at 6:30 p.m. with the program to follow at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be David H. Welch, chairman, president and CEO of Stone Energy Corporation.
The meeting is not open to the public.
