Minvielle, Judice named to committee
The Louisiana Public Defenders Office has appointed Leon J. Minvielle III, of Haik, Minvielle & Grubbs law firm in New Iberia, as chairman of a search committee to recommend persons for the job of Chief Public Defender for the Sixteenth Judicial District, according to Jay Dixon of the State Public Defenders Office.
Also appointed to serve with Minvielle are Margaret Judice of Aycock, Horne and Coleman law firm of Franklin, and Natalie B. Broussard, a New Iberia attorney.
The purpose of the search committee is to review the resumes of those persons who apply and to recommend three to the State Board for final selection.
