Parade for Patterson All-Stars

Patterson’s 10U All-Stars softball team is heading to Jensen Beach, Florida, for the Babe Ruth World Series, where play begins this weekend. The city sent the girls off in style Tuesday with a parade down Main Street to City Hall before the scheduled city council meeting. The girls and coaches threw beads and other goodies as they rolled down Main. At right, this buggy was transformed into the World Series-mobile.
