Relay fashion show

Almost $3,000 for cancer research was raised during the fifth annual Rock the Runway Fashion and Talent Show held on Jan. 18 at the Franklin City Recreation Center. Some 21 models included seven cancer survivors along with their youth escorts. The standing room only crowd also was entertained by singers Ashley Pierce and Crystal Newton Bell, who also served as emcee with Ed “Tiger” Verdin, a dance routine by Tandra and MaKaila Hebert, and a vignette performance by Techeland Arts Council representatives Judith Allain and Parker Felterman, below.
