Relay for Life this Saturday

West St. Mary Parish Relay for Life kicks off Saturday at noon at the Franklin High School field. The event in support of the American Cancer Society continues through midnight. Employees of the St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court Office wore jeans Friday rather than their usual uniforms as an in-office fundraiser for the Relay. Opening ceremonies begin at noon Saturday, with the Survivor/Caregiver Lap walk at 12:30 p.m. Entertainment and other events will continue throughout the day.
