School Nurse of the Year

Lydia Duval, RN, was the recipient of the 2015 Louisiana School Nurse of the Year Award. She was chosen by the Louisiana School Nurse Organization and was recently honored at the LSNO’s annual conference in Shreveport. Duval has been a St. Mary Parish school nurse and health science facilitator for 21 years. She coordinates multiple programs in school health services including school nursing, homebound services, school-based health center, career tech programs, and the summer Area Health Education Centers.
