Sheriff conducts supply drive for Claire House

Claire House Treatment Center for Women and Children in Bayou Vista is a structured residential drug addiction treatment program for women and their children. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office is holding a supply drive to assist the facility in meeting the needs of its residents.
Claire House is the only treatment facility in the region that accepts women along with their children. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office will be accepting donations until July 1.
Donations can be dropped off at either of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Offices on the fourth floor or in dispatch at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse, 500 Main St. in Franklin, or at the Morgan City branch office, 1445 Railroad Ave.
Seeking donations of the following items:
New twin size bed sheets
New pillows
New towels
Diapers (all sizes)
Baby formula
Baby food
Toothpaste
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Hair brushes
Cleaning supplies
Kitchen supplies (utensils, plates, bowls, toddler cups, etc.)
Office supplies (copy paper, binders, school supplies)
New school uniforms for school aged children up to 12 years of age
