Spill in downtown Morgan City

First responders received a report around 9:30 a.m. today of a garbage truck leaking hydraulic fluid after a hydraulic line on the truck apparently broke on Front Street in Morgan City, Substitute Fire Chief Mark Stephens said. As of about 10:45 a.m. today, responders were finishing cleanup on Front Street between Greenwood and Freret streets, Stephens said.
