Spreading holiday cheer

St. Mary AARP board member Lea Hebert, left, and member Elaine Wiggins load fruit baskets in a van Thursday to be delivered to AARP members 80 years of age and older living in Morgan City. This year marks a total of 20 years that the organization delivered baskets across the parish from Amelia to Baldwin. Members made 290 baskets for the holiday season.
