St. Mary CAA board elects new officers

St. Mary Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors recently elected new officers for the upcoming 2015-16 term.
A nomination committee chaired by board member Wendell Bogan submitted a list of names to the entire board during its May 12 meeting.
The newly elected officers are: chairperson Augustine Grogan, vice chairman Jared Longman, treasurer Wendell C. Bogan, secretary Tracy Duval, chaplain the Rev. Carl Lewis and parliamentarian Herman Hamilton.
Almetra J. Franklin, CEO, said these officers are experienced board members who believe in St. Mary CAA and its community services. “It truly takes a collective effort of dedicated people to make important decisions that not only affect communities, but also families and children,” Franklin said.
