St. Mary Parish school appointments announced

Numerous administrative appointments have been announced by the St. Mary Parish School System.
Superintendent Donald Aguillard said principal appointments for summer school sites are Michelle South, Morgan City Junior High site; Shantell Toups, Patterson Junior High site; J. Ina, Franklin Junior High site; and Donald Sanders, B.E. Boudreaux site.
Meanwhile, the retirement of Diane Wiltz, at-risk interventionist, created a vacancy for the 2014-15 school term. Selected to fill the role will be Gidget Everitt.
The vacancy at Social Studies Program Manager, created when Teresa Bagwell moved to Berwick Junior High to be interim principal and subsequently was appointed assistant superintendent, is being filled by Amber Monceaux.
Monceaux holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Nicholls State University and teaches seventh grade social studies at Berwick Junior High.
