St. Mary Parish schools will resume Monday

From the St. Mary Parish schools website:

All St. Mary Parish schools will reopen on Monday, August 15, 2016. Buses will run on their normal schedules.

Mr. Armato has received confirmation from Homeland Security that weather conditions have stabilized enabling the district to safely reopen schools after Friday's early release.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with those who have been seriously impacted by the recent tropical system. We ask that school personnel stay in contact with administrators regarding any special circumstances as necessary.
