A second Senior Project Showcase for the public will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
This event will showcase the efforts of Morgan City High School English IV Honor students who elected to take Senior Project in addition to their required curriculum. The students selected a topic, committed to write a research paper, reached out to community members for guidance, completed at least 20 hours of work toward a product, compiled a portfolio and will present their final product to the community.
The City of Morgan City donated use of the auditorium because the students requested a second showcase to display the results of their work to the public, their teacher, Leslie Smith, said.
