Summer feeding at west end locations

St. Mary Community Action’s summer feeding program begins soon.
Meals will be provided to all children without charge at the St. Mary Alternative School, 131 Clausen Road, Verdunville; West St. Mary Civic Center, 1498 La. 318, Sorrell; and the Baldwin Community Center, La. 83, Baldwin. The program runs June 15 through July 24, with breakfast from 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m.
Sites will be closed July 3 due to the Independence Day holiday. Anyone who believes he or she has been discriminated against in any USDA related activity should write or call immediately to USDA, Director, Office of Civil Rights, 1400 Independence Ave., SW, Washington, DC 20250-9410.
