Summer Reading program starts Mon.

St. Mary Parish Library staff members are inviting youngsters to “fly into a good book” at a local branch of the library system for this year’s Summer Reading Program.
Themes this year include “Every Hero Has a Story,” “Unmask” and “Escape the Ordinary.”
The program kicks off Monday at 10 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This will be the first day to check out books that will count toward summer reading minutes. Participants are urged to register as soon as possible.
Program activities include stories, crafts, music, dance, and other activities held at the libraries located in Amelia, Baldwin, Bayou Vista, Berwick, Centerville, Franklin and Patterson.
