Teacher Appreciation Week

May 5-9 is being recognized as Teacher Appreciation Week in western St. Mary Parish with a proclamation signed by mayors Raymond Harris of Franklin and Wayne Breaux of Baldwin. The mayors are pictured seated center left to right, respectively, with teachers from local public schools. The proclamation recognizes the teachers as vital in the ongoing education process.
